Day 1: Selingan Turtle Island

Your adventure begins at 0850hrs when you’re picked up from your Sandakan Hotel and transferred to the Crystal Quest Jetty. Here, you’ll board a boat at 0930hrs, embarking on a voyage to Selingan Turtle Island.
Island Arrival and Chalet Check-in
Upon arrival at the island, the day is yours to explore. Selingan Turtle Island is ideal for swimming and snorkeling, provided the weather permits. After a day of fun in the sun, indulge in a delightful dinner.
Witnessing Nature's Miracle
As the sun sets, a park ranger will lead you to witness a truly magical moment: sea turtles laying their eggs. Experience the transfer of these precious eggs to the hatchery and the heartwarming release of hatchlings into the sea. Your night will be spent in the comfort of a Chalet. (Lunch/Dinner)
Day 2: Conservation Odyssey
Breakfast with a View (0700hrs)
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before departing from Selingan Island and returning to Sandakan.
Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre
Your next stop is the world-renowned Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Established in 1964, this center plays a crucial role in rehabilitating orphaned and displaced Orang Utans. The magnificent dipterocarp forest here serves as a natural home for these iconic creatures, allowing them to gradually return to the wild.
Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre
Prepare to be charmed by the world’s smallest bear, the Sun Bear, in its natural forest environment. These adorable creatures are losing their habitat due to deforestation. The mission of the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre is to promote sun bear conservation through various efforts. Visitors can observe their activities from walkways as they lumber and play in open-air forest enclosures.
Lunch at Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort
Recharge with a delicious lunch at the Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort.
Kinabatangan River Expedition (1245hrs)
In the afternoon, embark on a 2 ½ hour drive to Kinabatangan River. Upon arrival at the resort, our representative will greet you with refreshments and provide a briefing on the resort’s routes and safety.
River Cruise and Wildlife Encounters (1600hrs)
At 1600 hours, set off on a river cruise in search of the rich wildlife that thrives in this area. Keep your eyes peeled for proboscis monkeys, orangutans, macaques, pygmy elephants, birds, and other fascinating creatures.
Dinner and Night Walk
